- Health policy:
+ HOTEL MEO only serves healthy cats who have been fully vaccinated as stated in the SUPER CLEAN section.
+ HOTEL MEO does not accept cats with the following health issues:
_ Currently suffering from cough, sneezing, runny nose, skin fungus, scabies, lice, fleas
_ Paralyzed and unable to walk
_ Incontinent and dependent on diapers
_ Heart failure
_ Kidney failure
_ Liver failure
_ Late-stage cancer
_ Of old age and frail
HOTEL MEO shall be exempt from any responsibility for the health conditions mentioned above if the family members fail to declare them upon check-in, leading to the deterioration or sudden death of the cats during their stay.
- Check-in and check-out policy:
+ Guests can check in and check out at any time during the hotel’s opening hours from 8 am to 9 pm. Outside of these hours, HOTEL MEO will not perform check-in or check-out for any reason.
+ If staying overnight and checking out before 12 pm noon, the room rate will be charged for one day. If checking out after 12 pm noon, an additional hourly rate will be applied = the daily rate/10.
+ Short-term daytime stays are charged per hour, with the hourly rate equal to the daily rate/10. The stay must be at least 4 hours/ stay, and rounded up to the nearest 30 minutes (This hourly stay policy does not apply during holidays and festivals).
- Room reservation policy:
Room reservations are only confirmed when the family members of the cats have completed the following steps:
+ Provide complete information about the cats and accompanying family members using the provided form.
+ Make a minimum 50% online payment via bank transfer or credit card for the total room charge.
+ If a room reservation is canceled more than 15 days before the check-in time, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged. If canceled within 7 days, a 50% fee will be charged, and if canceled within 3 days, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. This policy also applies to cases of reducing the number of reserved rooms and is calculated based on the price of the canceled room(s).
+ If, after completing the room reservation, there is a need to increase the number of rooms, please make another online reservation for the additional rooms.
- Policy on personal belongings and items brought along:
+ Toys: Each cat can bring their favorite toy, which should be small-sized and lightweight. All toys will be disinfected by HOTEL MEO using HOCl solution, UV rays, and ozone gas before being allowed in the room.
+ Medications: HOTEL MEO will assist in administering oral or topical medications as requested by the cat’s family members. The medications should be provided by the family members, clearly labeled with the cat’s name and prescribed dosage, and stored in zippered bags. HOTEL MEO will charge a fee of 50,000 VND per day per cat for this service.
- Dining policy:
+ Cats will be served Royal Canin (French brand) pet food three times a day and provided with complimentary Lavie mineral water throughout their stay.
+ If there is a desire to add other types of food such as canned meat, jelly, or special treats, the family members can request them as additional services and pay the corresponding fees.
+ Personal food items: The families can bring their own food, but it must be stored separately, neatly packed in bags, and clearly labeled with detailed instructions. HOTEL MEO will charge an additional fee of 50,000 VND per day per cat for serving personal food items.
- Home pickup and delivery policy: HOTEL MEO offers a pickup and delivery service for cats at their homes during two fixed time slots: morning (9 am – 11 am) and afternoon (2 pm – 4 pm). The fee is equivalent to the round-trip fare for a motorbike at that time.
- Pricing and payment guidelines:
+ The room rates are guaranteed to remain stable throughout the year.
+ During holidays and festivals, an additional 20% charge will be applied to the room rates. (The prices of additional food items depend on the market prices at that time.)
+ Weekly stay (full 7 days): 10% discount on the room rate at the time of payment.
+ Monthly stay (full 30 days): 20% discount on the room rate at the time of payment.
+ Family members of the cats can make a deposit payment in cash, via bank transfer, or credit card at the time of online booking or directly at HOTEL MEO to secure the desired room and length of stay for their cats.
+ When checking in, the family members of the cats are required to make full payment of 100% for the entire intended stay. Any additional service fees incurred during the stay will be requested for payment upon check-out
